Chicago - July 9, 2009 - Independent appraisal firm ClaimSolution Inc. today announced that it has selected CCC Information Services Inc. to provide the Kansas City-based company with its estimating software. Improved process alignment was one of the key reasons ClaimSolution CEO Mark Snow made the decision to turn to CCC.
“Roughly half of the claims we are handling today come through the CCC Autoverse® Service Network, so it made sense to align our estimating solution with what we see as the leading communication solution. This integration will be a competitive advantage for ClaimSolution as it helps create a more efficient process, allowing us to turn claims around faster. It is something that I am looking forward to, as well as our 50+ staff adjustors working across the country.”
Another benefit Snow cites is CCC’s willingness to come and work with ClaimSolution’s Information Technology Department to help configure the new process to ensure its successful launch. CCC worked in close consultation with ClaimSolution to develop a new workflow that took full advantage of its internal functionality. “We were very pleased to have CCC take the initiative and make the effort to come out and work with our IT team,” added Snow. “When we make a change as substantive as this one, it’s important that we are aligning our strengths to create a more seamless workflow.”
Senior Vice President of CCC’s Marketing and Product Management division, Debbie Day, agreed that the ability to combine solutions is a powerful resource for its clients. “Given today’s economic challenges, utilizing solutions that speak the same language and work together throughout the claims process is essential. We listened to our customers, who told us how important it is to improve the industry connectivity with independent appraisers. ClaimSolution first connected to the open CCC Autoverse Service Network to do just that. Now we are working together to take the next step -- with CCC Pathways estimating integration. We look forward to working with ClaimSolution today and into the future,” added Day.
